We continue to update this post as more publishers provide free resources for those impacted by COVID-19 and local stay-at-home guidance.
We are living in a worldwide period of school and library closures, social distancing, and the search for activities to keep kids engaged and as active as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. AND we’re celebrating Children’s Book Day this year by featuring how and where our partner publishers are sharing ways you can access their books, audiobooks, and related activities to help everyone stay engaged.
Children’s Book Day, sponsored by the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) is celebrated internationally on Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday, April 2. This year, we know, it will be a good idea to extend the celebration well beyond just one day of sharing new children’s book ideas. Click on each of the links below to discover lots of possibilities to brighten your stay at home. It’s a very good year to be grateful for all children’s publishers do for readers and their families every day!
